Dates and Nut Ladoos are one of the quickest and easiest sweet you can make within no time.Dates are sweet in nature , so we dont have to add sugar or jaggery.It makes very good snack for kids.

My older kids loves to have Dates , but younger is little fussy about it.I have to take seed each time and feed him.So my one friend suggested this way of giving dates to our kids.

There are many ways to make these Ladoos, like you can make it raw like mixing all ingredients directly into blender .Rolling this raw mixture directly into balls.Nuts have good moisture , so making ladoos is very easy.

Grind Dates to coarse mixture , because it will become soft while roasting.

I have tried another way, like roasting nuts and dates paste in ghee/butter.I like the small when we roast nuts in ghee.This aroma fills up the home.

These Ladoos can stay at room temperature for 2-3 days , no need to refrigerate it.In my home, they don’t last that much long 😉

You can make these Dates and Nut Ladoo even more healthy by adding edible gum/dink.We have to fry them in ghee and once they puff into ghee, take them out.Crush fried gum with hand and add to the dates mixture.These Ladoos are healthy just like Dink Ladoo, which we make in winter days.

Dates and Nut Ladoo

Date and Nuts Ladoo are very easy and quick recipe to make Ladoos. These Healthy balls are very good snack for kids.

Ingredients

  • 12-18 dates
  • 1 cup of mixed nuts (cahsews,alomonds,pistachios)
  • 1 tbsp of butter or ghee
  • 1/2 tbsp khuskhus

Instructions

  • 1.Romeove seeds from dates and grind them to a paste.
  • 2.Dry roast the nuts one kind at a time until they start to brown in patches.
  • 3.Pulse this in a mixie or food processor until you have a coarse mixture. It’s best to leave a few chunky pieces for some texture in the ladoos.
  • 4.Dry roast khuskhus for a minute and take it our in plate.
  • 5.Heat ghee in pan and add dates mixture.
  • 6.Roast dates mixture for 3-4 minutes on low flame.It will satrt to become soft dough.
  • 7.Add nuts and khuskhus into that.Switch off the flame.Mix very well.
  • 8.Take it out and let it cool for 1-2 minutes.When the temperature is good enought to handle, start rolling Ladoos.
